Pwllheli Beach

Pwllheli Beach

Pwllheli Beach - has not one but two beaches, and an attractive seafront promenade. Glan y Don Beach, which is south-facing, is one of the Llŷn Peninsula’s ‘best-kept secrets’, and can be found at the rear of the new marina’s workshops and compound. It’s around three miles long, covered in fine sand and pebbles and backed by sand dunes. South Beach is a shingle beach that stretches from Gimblet Rock along the promenade and around towards Llanbedrog.
Glan-y-Mor is located at the back of the marina, starting off a little muddy around the harbour, but soon becoming sandy and running for three miles all the way to the Penychain headland.
